Recruitment Analytics for a IT Services Company
Problem: Ascertain and improve key recruitment metrics such as time to hire, acceptance ratio, effectiveness of hiring channel and overall costs.
Solution: Compiled all recruitment data to identify gaps in hiring cycle, offer acceptance, effectiveness of sourcing channels, and calculate overall cost per hire.
Created a model to improve efficiency and reduce time to hire with variables including time to shortlist candidates, time to extend offer, sourcing channel, demography of candidate, time to complete interviews for each open position and analyzed it in conjunction with acceptance vs joining data.
Analyzed relationship between time-to-hire and sourcing channel with Chi-Square Tests and results showed interview time for entry level employees with highest variance. The regression result depicted the time taken for interviewing has a significant relationship with offer acceptance.
